One of the many things that orcas(逆戟鲸) do well is turn on a dime in tight quarters. Marine biologist Eva Saulitis reports that although orcas are typically longer than the twenty-foot skiff she uses and many tons heavier, “we find them in tiny coves where it’s too narrow for us to anchor.” Also, like other dolphins, orcas can use their own sonar to locate underwater objects by making clicking sounds, but those that hunt seals are mostly silent (to avoid tipping off their prey). This means that the crafty hunters of Prince William Sound, with nearly a thousand miles of shoreline to prowl, apparently memorize the contours of the whole convoluted coast.

第一题问的是which best summarize theinformation in this passage? (A).Agility and memory are two notable traits of orcas. 同时,我们在 also前面发现有个让步句although, 主句是引用的一句话,we find them in tiny coveswhere it’s too narrow for us to anchor.

近日,美国四年一度的总统选举又拉开了序幕,不知大家是否有注意到希拉里的竞选广告,有一句话是we don’t get by, we get ahead, stay ahead. SAT阅读中,大家一样,we don’t get by, we get ahead, stay ahead.
