这些对于备考初期的考生尤为重要，因为很多考生面对SAT作文题的时候，经常会跑题，写到后来自己都不知道该写点什么。在备考的后期，大家可以不用把提纲列在纸上，在头脑中形成这样的一个网就可以了。

然后，刚开始练习SAT作文的时候可以不用掐时间，而是以完整的写完一篇为基本要求。

写的过程中注意各种表达和语法错误，养成写出正确句子的习惯。同时要注意文章的结构安排，保证结构完整性。

接下来，掐时间完成文章，时间控制在24分钟。在这个阶段强度要求比上个阶段大。每天一篇为佳。

这个时候，最需要注意的就是时间，在规定的时间内构思，列提纲然后写作，一定要严格按照时间的规定进行，这样才能在考试中有更多发挥余地。
