新SAT语法标点符号考点之逗号用法扫盲

逗号是SAT语法考试标点符号考点当中出现频率最高的。要写出一个好句子，除了要符合标准书面语的语法，还要正确使用标点符号，否侧的话不仅会闹出笑话，严重的还会造成歧义和误会呢。今天我们来具体谈谈逗号的准确用法。

使用逗号的情况:

1、用于连接一个句子的并列成分。 We had a long,hard,but interesting journey.

2、用于分隔同位语。Tom's sister,a pop singer,will appear at the opening ceremony tonight.

3、用于分隔置于句首或插在句中的状语,状语从句和其省略形式。

His response,when I questioned him,was a shake of his head.

After you learned the game,you get bored again.

Outside the window,the lawn was cluttered with broken beer bottles and cigarette ends.

3、用于分隔开非限制性定语从句。My grandmother,who smokes a lot,is ninety.

4、用于分隔插入语。

Some students,it appears,are more concerned about the test scores.

Pinball machines,on the other hand,are essentially all the same.

不使用逗号的情况：

1、句子的主语和谓语后没有插入语和同位语等句子成分。

The retiring worker ,was applauded more than she expected.

Few taxpayer received ,the much talked-about rebate.

2、并列连词(and,but,for,or,yet)和从属连词(Although,because,when,since,and so on,so)后通常不能直接加逗号。

Secluded little islands in the Pacific are restful and ,alluring

Although,most families eat around their television sets,mine does not.

3、限制性定语从句与先行词关系密切，通常不用逗号隔开。

The man,who robbed him has been arrested.

4、引出同类人或物的介词后不能直接加逗号。

Secretaries today need skills in,typing on a computer,using a calculator,and organizing the work flow.

5、前置定语和介词短语不能用逗号隔开。

There were growing,doubts about the victory statement.
